Welcome to the Vine Grove Chamber of Commerce! It is my privilege to serve as your chamber President for 2008. Vine Grove is a small town community where everyone knows one another and everyone you meet is always warm and welcoming. I would like to invite you to attend one of our monthly luncheons, which are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Community Center located in City Hall on Main St. in Vine Grove, or stop by one of our chamber sponsored events to experience the same warm and welcoming feeling yourself.
Our chamber members take great pride in lending their time and effort to many community events in Vine Grove, such as the Autumn Daze Festival, Bluegrass Festival, Veterans Day Celebration, Dickens of a Christmas and Hall of Trees (which benefits the Shop for the Kids program at Christmas time). Our members also help with advancements such as the Main Street Program, or help host networking events and ribbon cuttings. Our Vine Grove Chamber of Commerce members are always willing to lend a helping hand.
Our city and the chamber are hitting a growth spurt that is anticipated to continue over the next several years. The plan to extend Hwy 313 beyond Vine Grove to connect Interstates 65 and 64 will allow ease of interstate commerce. The increasing off-post housing demands for the neighboring Fort Knox military installation is creating the need for more new homes, products, and services consumed in this area. This is a great opportunity for the commercial, industrial, civic and educational industries in Vine Grove and the greater Northern Hardin County areas.
People do business with people they know and trust. The chamber is one of your best opportunities for building relationships with people and businesses that are critical to your success and the success of your business. I encourage you to use the services offered by our chamber members by utilizing our membership directory on the website to serve as your primary source of contacts and information. We welcome you to join us as we continue to grow as a community and a great Chamber of Commerce.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Atcher
President
